I have been using SD without major issues on my Galaxy S4 for a few months, but since yesterday when I upgraded to 2.7.2 there have been some problems. I have had to kill the app many times after it appears to get "stuck" on pop-up menus such as "Open Route from Cloud", "Find Plates", "TAF" (in particular finding weather for a particular airfield) and a few other cases. The behaviour is that everything appears to be working normally, but the menu doesn't disappear when the action (such as opening the route) is finished. The back button has no effect and I haven't found any solution other than using the Task Manager to kill SD. This never happened with the previous versions, so I assume it is connected with something that changed in the latest version. It is slightly weird because the problem seems intermittent i.e. sometimes it doesn't happen, and then all of a sudden it gets stuck doing something that has just worked a few minutes ago. I have tried uninstalling SD and reinstalling from scratch but it didn't make any difference. Has anyone else had similar issues, or am I just out of luck with the new version on the S4? In which case please would someone let me know how to revert to the previous version?

I can replicate this problem on my Android Samsung Galaxy S2 every time by performing the following sequence with SkyDemon in planning mode. (latest V2.7.2 of SkyDemon installed, Android 4.1.2)

1) Set the device in portrait mode.
2) Download all plates in the UK AIP and set plate 'Filtering' to display VFR and IFR plates
3) Press and hold on Newquay (EGHQ), select the airfield and then select 'Find Plates'. Others probably will do the same, but this is the one I'm testing.
5) Select any of the displayed plates in the list to view (in my case this launches Adobe Acrobat reader - not sure if this also applies to other PDF viewers?)
6) Press the phone 'Back' button to close the reader and return to SkyDemon.
7) The list of plates is now displayed again in SkyDemon and no action will now remove this list to return to the map. The 'back' button is inoperative. SkyDemon now has to be killed using a task manager, or the phone reset as there seems to be no way out of here!

I hope this helps to track down the problem. If I can be of any further assistance with debugging/testing let me know.

Simon.

[Edit] PS. I have checked this out on the Nexus 7 and the problem seems to be that on returning from the PDF viewer the Android BACK button is disabled. On the Nexus the Plates popup can be closed by touching the map behind, but on smaller devices in portrait mode the map behind is completely obscured by the Plates popup and this option is therefore not available and there is no way to close the popup.

Just to confirm that the problem exists also in landscape view (I have SD also on a Galaxy S2 phone)
